People Come to Hannah Gadsby’s Defense After Dave Chappelle Takes Shot

In a clip Chappelle posted to his Instagram on Monday, he said he’s willing to meet with transgender Netflix employees, but only under certain conditions. 

Comedian Hannah Gadsby unleashed the wrath of Dave Chappelle after she criticized his Netflix special The Closer. Now people are coming to her defense. 

The jab at Gadsby—who has Netflix specials of her own in Nanette and Douglas—come after the comedian responded to Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, after he defended Chappelle’s special using her own work as an example.

Dave Chappelle told a “joke” about assaulting a lesbian in his stand up special and now demands that trans people “admit that Hannah Gadsby isn’t funny” in case any cis lesbians are confused, people who hate trans people hate you too. They do not make a distinction.

Hannah Gadsby is HILARIOUS and smart as hell. She is also a lesbian and neurodivergent so I see Dave Chappelle is still punching down on people I love. What a waste of his talents.

Day 15: It’s a home invasion! – BBNaija

Bet you didn’t see that coming! While it was certain that at least one of the Nominated Housemates was going to be on their way, nothing prepared us for the fact that there would be a grand total of three Housemates saying goodbye to the Big Brother House.

There are top-selling music groups with fewer people than that.  After a fortnight in the game, Beatrice, Niyi and Yerins were required to bid the others adieu — although they weren’t really required to do it in French — and get out of there, chop-chop.  “Chop-chop” means 15 seconds, here. Biggie really doesn’t waste much time on long, drawn out goodbyes.

Then came the second shock — new arrivals. A total of four new Housemates were introduced into the game tonight, meaning that the full complement of Housemates has gone up by one, rather than down. We were pretty sure it was going to move in the other direction. It’s going to start getting a little crowded, at this rate.

The question, then, is who are these new Housemates? Do they have what it takes to overcome these challenges? We dunno. We know nothing more about these folks than you do, but we can tell you that it’s certainly a diverse group that entered the House, tonight.

Izuku Midoriya has always wanted to be a superhero since he was a kid. Thanks to All Might, these dreams of becoming a pro hero were set on the right path, but things have taken a turn as of late.

With society upturned, Izuku has been fighting solo, and it turns out the My Hero Academia manga has a name for his dark form.

Clearly, Izuku is in a dark place right now, so the name of his current form fits.

According to Horikoshi, he dubs this take on Izuku as Dark Deku, and it is easy to see why.

3 Things You Should Always Do Before Grocery Shopping

Whenever I have to refill my car with gas, pick up shampoo and conditioner, or purchase new cleaning supplies, doing so always feels like a chore.

However, there is one weekly errand that I actually look forward to doing, and it is none other than grocery shopping. I still try…

One of my absolute favorite things about owning a group fitness gym is the camaraderie. When you work out together, you get to know each other, and in a way, end up on a fitness journey together.

After all, everyone is in there giving 100% to become the best version of themselves. The energy that creates is powerful.

One thing that used to baffle me is watching someone giving major effort and being super consistent in their workout routine, but that physical transformation seemed elusive for them.

There are a million reasons why this could be happening and far be it from me to speculate. Over the years, however, the same recurring theme came up: food choices.

You have to ignore the temptations, or you will continue to sabotage yourself.

1. Plan Ahead: First, plan your entire week to know what you’re going to eat.

2. Shop The Perimeter: This has been a common trick for a while now, but most stores line the outer perimeter with generally healthier food.

3. Keep The Basics: Get a good stock of grocery staples at your house and make sure you never run out.

“If you feel like there is no hope and are convinced the grocery store will always win, I’ve got promising news for you.”

The stores gave you an out with online ordering! This means you can build an order with only the items on your list, know exactly what your spending, and voilà! Your groceries will be ready for you to pick up curbside.

So see what you gonna do ok, If you walk into the store hungry, you will want all the things. Caution is thrown to the wind, and you’re borderline hangry, so everything sounds fabulous. 

Since your bookworm is signaling that you need a meal right now, you’ll be drawn to quick and easy meals which shouldn’t be what’s on your plan.

Now, if even entering the parking lot is too much temptation, some areas will deliver your groceries straight to your door!

That’s right – you place an order online, but instead of a pizza delivery showing up or your Amazon Prime order, it’s healthy and smart food choices all from your list! That’s using technology for good.
