We’ll of course have so much more news to share as we quickly approach that date, especially when it comes to the immediate, very-obvious struggles for Tariq.

When it comes to Raising Kanan season 2, we are currently anticipating that the series will return to Starz in the summer of 2022; production is already underway and unless we get some last-minute update saying otherwise, we’re expecting that it is going to run for ten episodes once more.

This is really the sweet spot for a lot of different shows airing on Starz; there’s room to get into a lot of important subjects but at the same time, also a chance to keep anything from getting too bloated.

New Suicide Squad Movie and Kill The Justice League’s King Sharks Are Polar Opposites

Nanaue, more commonly known as King Shark, is an interesting DC character often associated with the Suicide Squad.

However, his background used to be rather murky, so he’s made a ton of appearances in different ways.

Now, with The Suicide Squad movie out and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League releasing in 2022, it’s easy to see how the two takes on the one character have interpreted his background and made him their own.

The Suicide Squad’s King Shark

In the new James Gunn movie, King Shark is perhaps best described as a loveable oaf with a twinge of sadness, serving more often than not as comical relief. He demonstrates his lack of intellect several times by pretending to read a book upside down, when he tries to eat Ratcatcher-2, and by his general lack of vocabulary, but as Amanda Waller puts it, he’s the strongest member on the team.

His strength is great, and the combination allows King Shark to play off Ratcatcher, Bloodsport, and others quite well. It’s even quite sad when his “friends” betray and attack him in the water tank explosion, as well as when members of the Suicide Squad have to leave him behind because he’s a shark.

Google rolls out ‘pay calculator’ explaining work+from+home salary cuts

Google has rolled out a new internal calculator to explain potential pay cuts to employees who choose to work remotely — and the early results suggests it will penalize its suburban staffers.

Screenshots obtained by Reuters show that Google employees who previously commuted an hour to Google’s Manhattan offices from nearby Stamford, Conn., for example, would see their salaries slashed by 15 percent if they choose to continue working from home.

Google employees who move even farther away from the company’s offices have been warned they could face even harsher pay cuts.

A worker who left San Francisco for Lake Tahoe, another expensive area of California, would have their pay cut by a whopping 25 percent.

That would mean an employee with a $150,000 salary would suddenly make less than $112,000 per year.

Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn have all warned employees who plan to leave expensive cities like New York and San Francisco that their pay will be slashed while smaller tech companies like Reddit and Zillow say they’ll pay the same regardless of where employees live. 

The calculator states it uses US Census Bureau metropolitan statistical areas, or CBSAs. Stamford, Conn., for example, is not in New York City’s CBSA, even though many people who live there work in New York.

Jake Rosenfeld, a sociology professor at Washington University in St. Louis who researches pay determination, said Google’s pay structure raises alarms about who will feel the impacts most acutely, including families.

Bet you didn’t see that coming! While it was certain that at least one of the Nominated Housemates was going to be on their way, nothing prepared us for the fact that there would be a grand total of three Housemates saying goodbye to the Big Brother House.

There are top-selling music groups with fewer people than that.  After a fortnight in the game, Beatrice, Niyi and Yerins were required to bid the others adieu — although they weren’t really required to do it in French — and get out of there, chop-chop.  “Chop-chop” means 15 seconds, here. Biggie really doesn’t waste much time on long, drawn out goodbyes.

The Looney Tunes have gone through a variety of adventures since their debut in 1930, but in 1996 they went through a one-of-a-kind adventure in space in Joe Pytka’s Space Jam.

The movie brought together two different worlds unlikely to cross paths in the real world: the Looney Tunes and professional basketball, this by having Michael Jordan leading the Tune Squad in a life-changing basketball game.

Bugs Bunny and company are understandably horrified when they see themselves in 3D form, but could this be a sneaky way from the writers of Space Jam 2 to criticize the use of CGI in recent years?

In an unexpected (and unprofessional) movie from Warner Bros., the studio didn’t credit the whole 2D animation team, and this issue was quickly pointed out by some of the animators, most notably Dave Alvarez.

In response to this, and in a failed attempt to make up for the “mistake”, Warner Bros. shared the names of the whole 2D animation crew and their “gratitude” to them via the official Space Jam 2 Twitter and Instagram accounts, which only drew more backlash.

James Gunn Succinctly Explains the Difference Between Working With Marvel and DC

The director seemed to walk back earlier comments he’d made to The New York Times, and said that he regrets not putting his thoughts across like this:

This led to a delay in the third Guardians movie, the script for which Gunn had already written and turned in.

What I Wish I Knew Before Going To The College;

From the time you enter high school, college (and a four-year university in particular) is often presented as the end goal.

Once your junior year rolls around teachers, peers, and family members start throwing out a barrage of questions your way: are you looking at colleges yet? which ones have you visited? what’s your personal statement going to be about? what do you want to major in? when do you start applications? what about sororities? how about roommates? My head is spinning thinking about it.

High school is a microclimate, making for a confusing experience, at the end of which you’re supposed to be “grown.” It acts as a small town, where everyone knows everything, news spreads like wildfire, and everyone is talking behind each other’s backs.

It’s a place where good influences and bad influences collide to form the person you will enter the “real world” as.

Back then, colleges were attended by wealthy Puritans who would inherit family business and go on to be leaders of the new world as proper, well educated Christians. So from the beginning, college was associated with greater success and wealth.

“I’m not here to deny that anyone with a college education will likely earn a significantly higher salary than those who don’t.”

But don’t worry it gets worse.

If you’re like me and genuinely interested in learning more about the world or god forbid making it a better place, be prepared to drown in debt, working a minimum wage job until you die (just kidding…sort of).

After I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara (not because it was “easy” but because I was passionate about the subject), it was not lost on me that my 40 thousand dollar degree would get me nowhere.

The Supremacist racists are those that believe that white people are superior to black and brown people. They categorize all nonwhites as sub-human. In fact, they dehumanize black people to better abuse them.

They feel threatened by what they say is “the big replacement”: a white extremist theory that says that black and brown people are willfully trying to out-populate white people.

So the reality is that racists can belong to one or several of the above categories. Some can be Supremacist racists and Sadist racists at the same time.

Others can be Empathetic racists and Fetishist racists. Cross-pollination occurs across these categories all the time, but whatever the racist, they are harmful and sometimes life-threatening to black and brown people.

Almost after 2 years of original release date, Disney+ is going to bring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt’s family-friendly movie Jungle Cruise to the theaters this summer.

As like other movies Mulan, Raya, and The Last Dragon, Black Widow you can easily enjoy this film from home only. This is because Disney+ has officially announced that the movie is going to hit the streaming platform on the same day as theaters.

Ergo, this is the reason why filmmakers have decided to ask for $30 from all the viewers of this film.

You should not expect to stick with the Premier access strategy of Disney in long run. This is because Deadline has reported that Disney+ is thinking to revive the theatrical business.

Meanwhile, the upcoming movie Jungle Cruise will be available for the Disney+ subscribers at regular subscriptions after a certain time period.

Ever wondered what it would be like if you combined Werner Herzog’s ‘Aguirre, the Wrath of God’ (1972) with John Huston’s ‘The African Queen’ (1951) and transformed the result into a two hour long kid’s movie? No, neither have I and I would’ve doubted any rational or sane person would ‘ve either.

SA it seems that the execs at Disney are in no way rational or sane people because that’s exactly what they’ve done with ‘Jungle Cruise’ (2021), which is only appropriate as this movie feels neither written nor directed but constructed solely from studio diktats (‘Jungle Cruise’ is based on a Disney theme park ride ⅞ studio memos go floating by).
